Jerry D. Ramsey, 76, a resident of Aurora passed away on Nov. 4, 2012. Jerry was born April 17, 1936, in Pontiac, Ill., to James and Bertha Ramsey. He is survived by his six children; Jerry, Richard, Deborah, Kevin, Douglas and Andrew; five grandchildren — Stephanie, Mandy, Brian, Richard and JJ; three great grandchildren and his brother Jimmy. After high school, Jerry joined the US Air Force where he retired after serving 20 years including two tours in Vietnam. He is a graduate of Columbia College, where he obtained a degree in Business Management. After retiring from the USAF, Jerry began a second career as a Government Auditor. Services were held Nov. 9, 2012, where Jerry was laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery with both his wives of 20 years, Phyllis and Paula Ramsey.
