DENVER | Vice President Joe Biden is coming to Denver on Tuesday to talk about the administration’s economic policies.
He also plans to talk with officials and educators about the role that partnerships between community colleges and employers can play in helping Americans get the skills they need to succeed in the workforce.
The roundtable discussion is being held at the Advanced Manufacturing Center at the Community College of Denver.

With family members who attended schools during this administration, he could reduce student loan interest to level that student could pay it off, over time after graduation, in a short time. And reduce the excessive oversight that make jobs scarce, so they can reasonably get work in skill they trained for. Banks are only paying 1-2% on checking or savings accounts, and student loans are compounding at 7-8%. With high cost of tuition too many are graduating, and not finding work in their education field. Will never be able to pay off those loans, since interest grows faster than payment plan in catch 22. Too many are working as janitors or in fast food, and loan is going off the chart. To summarize: (1) Lower interest rates on student loans or subsidize them.
(2) Remove regulations-oversight to establish more jobs
(3) Control the border- Only let legal immigration to take place- Establish that when illegal alien is detected, the business or activity that invited them hired them, or employed them bears the expense of deporting them and pays a fine. Soon would make uneconomical to bring illegals in to take jobs, and that would make employment for Americans. Get them off welfare – food stamps – which was proved effective in 2nd Term of Bill Clinton. Re-establish those restrictions and enforce them.
Yeah the illegal immigrants are taking jobs requiring a college education. Idiot.
Who are you calling names. Those illegals were taking the jobs of building the many roads, buildings, out in Commerce City and Denver that union folks normally work. If you visit Mexico, you will find 40, 50, men with picks and shovels working to build roads, dig ditches. Well, for some silly reason, those folks can and did learn to hammer, saw, build and work all over Denver metro area, while lazy Americans ran to welfare offices, collected welfare, food stamps, and all the other freebies the liberals-progressives keep you as economic slaves and VOTE DEMOCRAT TO CONTINUE STEALING FROM THE STATE AND FEDERAL TREASURY. If you don’t know that, or saw that, then who is the Idiot, Moron, and advocates for continued same?
I have done that work and at age 16, I operated a jack hammer at night on cost plus job in Ohio, until a boss came by one night. I drove truck, cut timber, and worked with my father hauling lumber and posts to the coal mines in Ohio. My father had 3rd grade education and operated all kinds of heavy construction equipment, dragline shovels, regular mine loading shovels, bulldozers, and bossed crews. It is not a case of illegals taking jobs that Americans won’t. It is a case they work for less, take jobs from folks that won’t due, because they make more on welfare, non taxable, than if they worked. Take a deep breath, and consider if you fit Reagan Statement. I think you do: It is not true that progressives-liberals don’t know anything, it is just true they know so much , that is not true. 2nd comment- None of the 13 bachelors (20 to 30) that lived next door to me for almost a year in 2006-2007 had a college education. In fact, I never knew what they worked at, but drove nice cars, came and went at all times, with squealing tires and horn blowing. Police involved few times, but Denver metro was sanctuary area in those years. Gov. Owens forced laws that year, and I saw lot of folks self – deport themselves with all the stuff they bought up here (living 2-3-4families in one house, trashing it) and they drove newly bought 3/4 and 1 ton dullies, with trailers to haul it all back south of the border. Unfortunately, when Owens left office, Ritter and Hickenlooper just forgot, or ignored those laws put into effect 1 July 2006. Of course they just copied our wonderful leader in oval office. So again, who is the idiot?
