DENVER | The body of an Air Force veteran is being exhumed after officials at Fort Logan National Cemetery said headstones on six graves got mixed up.
The wife of 62-year-old Rick Sosias says she discovered the mix-up after her husband was buried. When she returned to his grave, she found the headstone of another man.
Cemetery spokesman Joseph Turnbach tells KMGH-TV (https://bit.ly/MkRweY ) six headstones were reversed and the error has been corrected.
He says Sosias’ body will be exhumed to assure his wife the error has been corrected.
