AURORA | Toll collectors for E-470 east of Denver are threatening to block vehicle registration for drivers who fail to pay up.
Under new rules, drivers will get a statement and several warnings. If tolls remain unpaid for more than 90 days, the account will be sent to a collections law firm.
If the account remains unpaid, the driver could face civil penalties and non-renewal of vehicle registration through the Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles.
