Sponsored by the Colorado Pug Rescue, pugs and pug mixes were invited to strut their stuff while vying for top prize of Best Dressed.
Dozens of pugs showed up in their spookiest costumes Oct. 21 during the annual Colorado Pug Rescue Pug-O-Ween event at Chuck and Don’s on South Parker Road. The ladybug-pug and bumblebee, named Rocky and Frankie, respectively, took home third place in the costume contest.

Chato won first prize for his costume of Wednesday Addams, a costume that was a last resort, as his owner Carrie Taylor told The Sentinel that his originally planned costume of Jon Snow from Game of Thrones wasn’t delivered in time.
Frankie, dressed as a bumblebee shared second place with his brother Rocky, who was dressed as a ladybug-pug, Oct. 21 during the annual Colorado Pug Rescue Pug-O-Ween event at Chuck and Don’s on South Parker Road.

Other notable costumes were Cookie Monster, Ken and Barbie, a bumblebee, a ladybug-pug and Pug the Magic Dragon.
