AURORA | Several lanes on northbound Parker Road near I-225 were closed for about three hours Friday morning, and drivers were asked to take alternative routes as the Aurora Police Department responds to a car crash.
According to an APD post on X, formerly known as Twitter, a semi-truck lost control on southbound Parker Road just east of I-225. Two other cars were impacted but there were no injuries.
Drivers were diverted to Hampden Road, according to the social media post.
Why did Aurora Police Department not keep lane three and improvise a lane four so that northbound ParkeRoad trafficould continue by?
The detour caused tremendous trafffic delays and problems elsewhere.
