Regional Transportation District board members will be hosting live telephone town hall meetings for Aurorans on June 14 and 18.
There will be three telephone town hall meetings for Aurora and residents will be called at random through an automated system that will invite them to participate in the discussion. Residents can ask questions to their elected board members and participate in polls.
The first telephone town hall is at 7:30 p.m. on June 14 hosted by RTD board member Barbara Deadwyler, whose district includes north Aurora. RTD board member Bill McMullen, whose district includes western Aurora, will host one at 6:15 p.m. on June 18, and board member Tom Tobiassen, whose district includes all other parts of Aurora, will host one at 7:30 p.m. on June 18.
Residents who participate will learn about the latest changes to bus and light rail service and the status of the FasTracks transit expansion program and other projects.
Residents who don’t receive a call but still want to participate in the meeting can dial toll-free 1-855-269-4484.
