AURORA | An unidentified man was critically injured early Sunday after being shot while at a home in northwest Aurora.
Police were called to a house in the 11500 block of East Highline Place in Aurora at about 3:15 a.m. after reports of a shooting there.
“Officers quickly arrived on scene and detained multiple people, including who we believe to be the suspected shooter.,” Aurora Police spokesperson Agent Matthew Longshore said in a statement. “The victim and others involved are all known to each other. “
Police said a man at the house was critically injured by gunfire, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital.
“Detectives are responding to the scene to determine what led up to the shooting and everyone’s involvement,” Longshore said.
Police said no arrests were made, although “multiple people” were detained.
