Police say woman’s death in Aurora ‘suspicious’ after body discovered Saturday

AURORA | Police are calling the death of a woman whose body was found Saturday in northeast Aurora “suspicious.”

The woman, whose name has not been released, was found dead about 11:30 a.m. Saturday in a home on the 1000 block of Powhaton Road, police said.

Investigators have not released the woman’s cause of death, but said in a statement Saturday that her death is suspicious and homicide detectives are investigating.
