AURORA | Police are investigating the death of a person who may have been hit by a car early Wednesday morning on Havana Street.
According to police, officers responded to the 700 block of Havana Street shortly before 1 a.m. on a report of a person laying in the street.
Police said the person, who may have been hit by a car, was rushed to an area hospital and later pronounced dead.
Investigators have not released the person’s name or information on a possible vehicle involved, but said homicide detectives are investigating the case.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Detective Todd Fredericksen at 303-739-6106 or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). Tipsters to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and earn a $2,000 reward.
