AURORA | Police are investigating a stabbing that left one man dead in north Aurora early Tuesday morning.

Aurora police Officer Diana Cooley, a spokeswoman for the department, said police were called to a home in the 1400 block of Lima Street around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a stabbing.

When officers arrived, Cooley said they found a 55-year-old man dead of an apparent stab wound.

Cooley said there were several witnesses and “people involved” at the scene that were taken in for questioning.

Cooley said police aren’t looking for a suspect and nobody has been arrested in connection with the man’s death.

Police will release further details later, she said.
