AURORA | Police today identified a teenager killed in a crash Sunday night as 13-year-old Noe Gonzalez.

Gonzalez was in a black Saturn being driven by his 16-year-old sister Monica that crashed into a mobile home near East 20th Avenue and Potomac Street.

Monica Gonzalez remains in critical condition at a local hospital, police said. The front passenger, Arturo Martinez was released from a hospital, and the right rear passenger, Luis Luna Robles, remains hospitalized with injuries police said are non life threatening.

Police say at the time of the crash the driver was practicing “J-turns,” a maneuver that turns the car 180 degrees by cranking the wheel and pulling the emergency brake. During one of those turns, the car slammed into an unoccupied mobile home.

Noe Gonzalez was in the backseat on the driver’s side at the time of the crash.
