AURORA | Aurora police said no foul play was suspected in the death of a man found hanging from a bridge over West Toll Gate Creek along East Hampden Avenue on Wednesday morning, Feb. 17.

Officers responded just after 7:50 a.m. Feb. 17 to the Hampden Avenue bridge over West Toll Gate Creek after a report of a man’s body hanging from the bridge just west of South Uravan Street.

Aurora police spokeswoman Crystal McCoy said investigators believe the hanging was a suicide, and that the person’s family was aware Tuesday he was having personal issues that may have led to the hanging.

The man’s name was not released.
