AURORA | A 36-year-old man was injured after being shot Wednesday afternoon while somewhere in the 3500 block of Salida Street, police said. 

The man was taken to a nearby hospital at about 3:30 p.m. and treated for non-life threatening injuries and is expected to survive, police said in a tweet.

Police said the man described the shooters as two Black males who left the scene in a gray sedan.

No other details were released.
