A Denver man convicted of first-degree murder for the 2010 slaying of an innocent bystander during an Aurora liquor store robbery is scheduled for sentencing next week.
Anthony Gillespie, 25, was convicted in May of killing Benigno Morales-Ramirez, 24, during an April 9, 2010, robbery at Sixth Avenue Liquors. He was also convicted of aggravated robbery and conspiracy.
Gillespie is scheduled to appear July 10 in Arapahoe County District Court for sentencing. Because he was convicted of first-degree murder, Gillespie faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. The hearing could, however, give Morales-Ramirez’s friends and family a chance to address the court.

The family should address the court in having themselves neutered and spaded that their DNA ends right there.
