AURORA | A 24-year-old man is facing murder charges after police say he killed a woman this week near East Colfax Avenue and Lima Street.
The man, whose name has not been released, is accused of killing 24-year-old Danielle Stephanie Griego.
According to Aurora police, they responded Sept. 16 to a home in the 1400 block of Lima Street and found a dead woman and an unconscious man. The woman had suffered a fatal gunshot wound, police said, while the man appeared to have overdosed.
The man was taken to an area hospital and police arrested him after he was treated and released.
