AURORA | An unidentified man was critically wounded after being shot Sunday afternoon in north Aurora.
Police were called to the 3000 block of Peoria Street at about 2:15 p.m. after reports of a shooting in the area.
When officers arrived, they encountered a man suffering from a “life-threatening gunshot wound.”
The man was taken to a nearby hospital. His condition was not reported.
“We do not have suspect information at this time, and a motive or relationship between the two is unknown,” Aurora police spokesperson Sydney Edwards said in a statement.
