AURORA | A man prosecutors say opened fire outside an Aurora bar last year — killing one, paralyzing one and wounding a third man — has been charged with murder, Adams County prosecutors said last week.

Ignacio Luque-Verdugo, 31, was arrested July 10 in California and is awaiting extradition to Colorado, prosecutors said in a statement announcing the charges last week.

According to prosecutors, Luque-Verdugo opened fire at the Bronco Bar at 9496 E. Montview Boulevard after an altercation Nov. 21, 2014. Andres Cinto-Duran, 29, died after being shot six times, Sergio Cinto-Duran, 35, was shot three times and left paralyzed, and Manuel Rios-Rios, 30, was shot once and survived, prosecutors said.

Luque-Verdugo is facing several charges, including first-degree murder after deliberation, first-degree murder extreme indifference, two counts of attempted first-degree murder after deliberation, two counts of attempted first-degree murder extreme indifference, four counts of first-degree assault and eight counts of crime of violence, a sentencing enhancer.
