AURORA | A 39-year-old man is facing a first-degree murder charge after police say he killed a 19-year-old man inside the teen’s apartment this week.
Dustin Dwight Freeman is currently being held at the Arapahoe County Jail without bond in connection with the May 16 slaying at 11913 E. Maple Ave., police said.
The Arapahoe County coroner’s office on Friday, May 20, identified the victim as 19-year-old Andres Antonio Hernandez, who lived at the apartment. The coroner said Hernandez died of blunt-force injuries and classified his death as a homicide.
