AURORA | Aurora police have released few details about a 16-year-old girl who was wounded after being shot outside a Super Target near Alameda and Sable Boulevard in central Aurora.

Using social media, police said the girl and her dog were both shot at about 9 p.m. Tuesday. Police said neither sustained life-threatening injuries.

The shooting occurred in the parking lot of the Target store at 14200. E. Ellsworth Ave.

Police said they are looking for 3-4 Hispanic males who may have fled in a white, older-model car. No other information was released, and police did not say what the relationship was between the girl and the suspects. Police did say they suspect robbery was the motive for the shooting.

  1. “…n a white, older-molder car.” What kind of car was that, again? I’m not familiar with that brand! 🙂

  2. I have some ocean front property in Arizona for sale! Do they have a little “White Lies” book to cover for them when they don’t want to tell the truth?

    1. Whats the white lie? She went to meet this guy to buy hash oil. They were robbed, followed by the teen and her friend when the robbers shot at the car chasing them. Lots of poor decisions where is the white lie?
