AURORA | Aurora officials rolled out an online feedback tool this week in the hopes of garnering public input on a wide range of community topics, including water policy, emergency planning and plans to revamp Havana Street, and even the city center.
The new platform is at www.EngageAurora.org. City officials are calling it “your space to make your voice heard.”
Aurorans can now register, read up and type feedback for city planners to shape construction plans, recreation projects and bigger overhauls of city arteries.
Currently, the city is looking for feedback on the Havana Street Corridor study — an attempt to make the enormous through-way more friendly for pedestrians, bicyclists and public transit riders. The city also wants your opinion about the City Center, which includes the Aurora Municipal Center and several malls, and how it might be better developed.
“We want to make sure residents can provide feedback in the way that is most comfortable and convenient to them,” City Manager Jim Twombly said in a statement.
