AURORA | A man robbed an Aurora TCF Bank Monday afternoon, Feb. 8, marking the second time in four days that bank was robbed.
According to the FBI, a white man in his early 30s walked into the bank at 15350 E. Sixth Ave. around 12:30 p.m. and showed the teller a note demanding money. He then took the money and fled south on foot, the FBI said.
The man was wearing a stocking cap and wig during the robbery, according to the FBI.
The FBI is asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 303-913-stop. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
Two armed men robbed the same bank Friday morning and were arrested a few minutes later after a brief police chase.
