AURORA | An Aurora industrial strip mall unit was damaged Saturday night after a fire broke out but was contained quickly by firefighters.

Firefighters were called about 6 p.m. to reports of a fire at a commercial strip mall unit in the 300 block of Norfolk Street in north Aurora.

Rescuers reported seeing smoke coming from a single unit and deployed a bevy of firefighters, 15 units in all.

Despite heavy smoke and obstacles confronting firefighters, the blaze was contained in about 10 minutes, according to fire officials.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was not determined.
