Aurora police have a DUI checkpoint planned for Saturday night on Peoria Street.

The checkpoint is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. Saturday and end around 3 a.m. Sunday.

Police said the checkpoint will be on Peoria Street, somewhere north of East Exposition Avenue.

During the checkpoint, drivers will be stopped briefly and asked a few questions as officers try to determine if they have been drinking alcohol.

The checkpoint is paid for with a federal grant.
