AURORA | A licensed psychologist will lead a community discussion about ways to cope after the traumatic events of the July 20 theater shootings at 3 p.m. on Sept. 8 at the Aurora Central Library, 14949 E. Alameda Pkwy.
The event is hosted by the library and the city of Aurora and it’s called “The Ripple Effects of Trauma: Riding the Waves.” It is free and open to the public. The guest speaker and licensed psychologist will be Carrie Doehring, a professor of psychology and religion at Iliff School of Theology and the University of Denver. This is one of a few upcoming events focused on recovering from the theater shootings.
