DENVER | Denver Mayor Michael Hancock is promising a crackdown over reports city employees failed to pay hundreds of photo-speed-van and red-light-camera fines after they were caught while driving city cars.
A records review by KUSA-TV (https://on9news.tv/QOTB3h ) shows more than 600 violation notices have not been paid since 2009.
One city vehicle captured breaking the red-light rules at an intersection was a parking-attendant’s vehicle.
Most city agencies have a policy that requires employees to pay for red-light and photo-speed citations issued while they are driving a city vehicle.

Well, this figures, doesn’t it. They are overpaid, over-compensated with time off, sick leave, vacation, and surely they are in unions of some kind to make sure they are ‘treated humanly’. When will this country wise up and realize unions and there demands are unreasonable and accomplish nothing but overpaid, lazy, incompetence.
We should start acting like Wisconsin and get rid of the power of the unions and just run a tight ship for much less money.
typical do as i say not as i do….
