DENVER | Prosecutors and defense lawyers in the Colorado theater shootings are expected to file numerous motions on Monday.
That’s the deadline for attorneys to file pretrial motions on any topic except the death penalty.
James Holmes is accused of killing 12 people and injuring 70 at a suburban Denver theater in July. He faces multiple charges of murder and attempted murder, and prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
