AURORA | The Arapahoe County coroner identified a woman slain in Aurora early Sunday morning as Aliyah Jasmine Bonicelli-Stinson, 23.
The coroner said Bonicelli-Stinson was shot in the head while in a car April 8. Her death was ruled a homicide.
Police said officers responded to University of Colorado Hospital around 4:45 a.m. Sunday after a man and woman showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds. The woman later died and the man survived, police said.
Investigators later determined the pair were shot near East Mississippi Avenue and South Galena Street, police said.
