AURORA | Police are searching for a pair of men who robbed two Aurora Dairy Queen restaurants in less than an hour Monday.
The first incident happened in a Dairy Queen at 3140 S. Parker Rd. Police say two men entered the store around 8:45 p.m. armed with handguns. The men, who were wearing masks on their faces, stole cash and the employees’ cell phones before fleeing.
The second robbery happened 50 minutes later at 2197 S. Chambers Rd.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Detective Brian McClure at 303-627-3232 or Detective Tom Lehmann at 303-739-1833. Tipsters can also provide information anonymously by calling CRIME STOPPERS at 720-913-STOP (7867). They may be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
