COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. | Complaints are continuing to pile up as Douglas Bruce prepares for a probation hearing later this month over complaints that he hasn’t reported financial dealings as required.

The former state lawmaker is on probation for his 2012 felony convictions for tax evasion, filing a false tax return and trying to influence a public servant. He spent 104 days in jail and is required to provide full transparency in his financial dealings.

The Colorado Springs Gazette reports (https://tinyurl.com/p3vdtyb) Bruce has continued to buy up property across the nation that are not included in court reports.

Bruce refused to comment on the latest reports, but said previously he has been the target of government enforcement because of his role in passing the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights, which sets strict limits on government taxes and spending.
