DENVER | The Colorado Supreme Court is considering the cases of three people sentenced to mandatory life sentences without parole as juveniles.
The arguments are being held Tuesday in Denver.
The hearing comes nearly two years after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that life sentences for those under 18 are unconstitutional.
KUSA-TV reports that 49 youth offenders are sentenced to life in prison without parole in Colorado.
