AURORA | An autopsy on a man found dead at the Nine Mile light rail station was inconclusive, police said Thursday.
Lawrence Nelson Steward, 28, was found late Tuesday night in a parking structure at the RTD bus stop near Parker Road and Interstate 225.
Aurora police spokesman Officer Frank Fania said an autopsy performed on Steward didn’t give a clear answer as to how Steward died.
Aurora police said Wednesday that detectives from the department’s homicide unit were investigating, but Fania said the case has not been ruled a homicide. Detectives will continue to investigate, Fania said.
