AURORA | Aurora Police are asking the public to help identify two suspects related to a non-fatal Aurora shooting on Aug. 15.

“Both are considered armed and dangerous,” the police department said in a statement.

The suspects are a man and a woman, both white, wearing pajama pants and black hooded sweatshirts. Both are walking between homes on gravel, as seen in home security video provided by police.

The man has light colored hair and a blond goatee beard with no mustache, and the woman has grown-out pink hair with dark brown roots and semi-permanent eyelash extensions.

The pair was last seen at 2:30 p.m.Friday near East Exposition Avenue and South Buckley Road in Aurora after a shooting at the Bristol Apartments at 17201 E. Walsh Way.

Police arrived at about 3 p.m. after reports of a shooting and found an unidentified man who was shot and injured in the driveway of the east Aurora apartment complex, police said.

“A 25-year-old man sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound during the shooting,” Aurora Police spokesperson Joe Moylan said in a statement. “He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.”

Police said investigators have not said if they have determined what led to the shooting.

Police said anyone with information can call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000, police said.
