AURORA | Aurora Police are looking for the public’s help identifying two males accused of breaking into and causing “significant damages” to Aurora West College Preparatory Academy last Monday night.
At about 11:10 p.m. on Monday night, based on video surveillance, two males broke into the school, according to an APD press statement Wednesday morning. APD spokesperson Joe Moylan previously said that officers responded to a report of a burglary and vandalism at 5 a.m.
Due to the amount of damages and because police need to investigate, the school was closed Tuesday. Classes resumed Wednesday.
Photos provided by the police department show multiple broken windows and broken trophy cases, with shards of glass littering the hallways. In one photograph, a TV in a classroom was broken.
The police department also shared photos of the two males. Both were wearing black tee-shirts and black shoes. One male wore jeans and wore dark sunglasses. The other wore black pants, black hat and a black crossbody bag. No tattoos or piercings are visible in the photographs provided by the police department.

99% sure that I just saw those two kids at the target on the 16th St mall, then they were hanging out next to Giardanos on the corner. I looked for a cop. None around. Shocker.
