AURORA | A suspected bank robber called police to turn herself in after seeing pictures on the news of her robbing an Aurora bank, police said.

Purnice Paris Frazier, 27, is being held in the Arapahoe County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond after police say she called them Friday to say she robbed two local banks.

Police said Frazier told them she saw pictures of herself on the news and wanted to turn herself in.

When officers and FBI agents searched her home in the 15000 Block of East Jarvis Place, they found cash believed to have been stolen in the two robberies earlier this month.

The FBI said last week that a woman, allegedly Frazier, robbed two Aurora banks on April 4 and another April 24.  In the surveillance images, a woman with her face covered is seen brandishing a gun before fleeing a dark sedan.
