As reported by Sentinel news partner Denver’s 7 News, Tami Miller — who runs the Etsy.com shop Spoonier — reported having more than $40,000 in goods stolen sometime over the weekend.

Miller said she went to her office building at 2851 S. Parker Road on Saturday and discovered that burglars had broken in and taken her whole inventory.

“All of our inventory was here. Our entire shop was gone. Years of work. Gone,” she said. Miller said she spent the past five years building up the online shop, making rings from vintage spoon handles.

“This is our main source of income. Spoonier has been paying our bills,” Miller said. “We were almost to selling 10,000 items.”

Miller told The Denver Channel she is offering a $1,000 reward for the return of the items, hoping that would prompt the thieves to bring the items back rather than try to sell the melted silver for what it’s worth, an estimated $1,000 to $1,500.

“We don’t know if we’ll be able to pay rent,” said Miller. “We just need our stuff back. We need our life back.”
