AURORA | Police arrested a bank robbery suspect Wednesday, June 8, after investigators say he robbed an Aurora bank earlier in the morning.

Michael Darryl Harden, 35, is accused of robbing the TCF Bank at 16999 E. Quincy Ave. around 9:45 a.m., according to the FBI.

During the robbery, Harden, who was wearing a disguise, pulled out a gun, ordered customers to lie on the ground and fled with a bag of money, the FBI said.

Aurora police and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force took Harden into custody later this morning. According to the FBI, Harden is also a suspect in a January robbery at a bank in Parker.

He faces a minimum of seven years in prison if convicted of federal bank robbery charges. The FBI said Harden has no prior criminal record.
