AURORA | An Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputy injured last week when he crashed his police cruiser en route to a homicide call remains hospitalized.

Deputy Bill Foreman has been hospitalized since Feb. 10. The sheriff’s office said in a statement Thursday, Feb. 18, that he remains in critical condition.
“It is apparent that his road to recovery will be long,” Julie Brooks, a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office, said in a statement.
The deputies’ union, Arapahoe Lodge 31 of the Fraternal Order of Police, is raising money for Foreman’s family at their website, www.lodge31.com.
