AURORA | The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is offering up to $2,000 to find four people they say are responsible for vandalizing a security camera, fireplace and park display Feb. 6 at Centennial Center Park.

A spokesman for the sheriff’s office said the damage done to the park was less than $300.

According to the department, the incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Feb. 6 at the park, which is located at 13050 E. Peakview Ave. in Centennial.

In a video released by the department, four young people — three females and one male — are clearly seen in the enclosure at the park. One female appears to be alternating drinks between what appears to be Fireball whiskey and Sunkist orange soda. Another female walks out of frame and returns to the frame with a rock when she is embraced by the male, who is wearing an explicit hooded sweatshirt. The female appears to throw a rock at the camera repeatedly until the picture goes out of focus.

According to sheriffs, the people left the park in a dark colored coupe.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.

  1. Cool … $2,000 reward. These kids should make a deal with a friend to report them, then split the reward. They will get a slap on the wrist … at most, probation.

  2. I wonder just how cool this appears to the parents of these children. Drinking this heavy, then driving, we can only hope they lived nearby and did not go out on the highways. Reason young people die in car accidents, or get in other trouble. And just how did they buy the alcohol?

      1. How would that be consistent? I don’t remember identifying anyone as thugs. Not even in Ferguson Mo, or Sanford Fl. You must be referring to someone else.
