AURORA | The next steps in finding the new Aurora Public Schools superintendent will be collecting opinions from parents, teachers, employees and the public.
In a series of focus group sessions this week, district officials drew feedback regarding the next APS superintendent. The push follows Superintendent John Barry’s announcement last year that he’d leave the position in July.
During its work session Jan. 22, the APS Board of Education heard updates about the groups.
“Our next immediate steps will be to review the focus group analysis,” said Board President JulieMarie Shepherd, adding that the board would also finalize the materials sent to candidates.
