DENVER | An 11-year-old girl was shot while walking in north Denver early Sunday.
Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson says the girl was walking with a relative at about 2 a.m. when she was hit in the leg. Jackson says she is expected to survive.
According to KMGH-TV (https://tinyurl.com/ptf7f3j), the motive for the shooting is still a mystery.
