Barbecue is an American staple that transcends every division in American society. Even vegetarians will soon be able to enjoy all the barbecue goodness when the Impossible meat line rolls out. It turns out that barbecue can also be an intellectual endeavor. This age-old culinary tradition will be pulled (pork) apart and examined by Soul Food scholar Adrian Miller and  ‘Smokelore’ writer Jim Auchmutey. Rolling Smoke BBQ will provide the meat and two authors will handle the entertainment. Proceeds will help benefit Colorado Humanities.
