AURORA | The Arapahoe County fair is this weekend and one $25 ticket gets you through the gates and into a day packed with entertainment.
“From line dancing with Two Left Boots to the always popular canine stunt show, we invite everyone to come out and enjoy a full day of wholesome fun for an incredible price,” Commissioner Leslie Summey said in a statement.
The 119th Annual Arapahoe County Fair is Thursday through Sunday with events that showcase the County’s agricultural and Western heritage through 4-H programming, traditional farming and educational activities, along with entertainment for the whole family, according to a statement from the county.

Tickets cost $25 and kids shorter than 36 inches get in free.
The tickets include parking, unlimited carnival rides, CPRA rodeos, fireworks, live entertainment, NSPA truck and tractor pulls, Canine Stars Stunt Dog Show, mutton bustin’, public competitions, petting farm, 4-H livestock shows and Kids Corral, according to the statement.
Food and beverages are not included in the ticket price and will be available for purchase and vendors are located throughout the Fairgrounds.
“Each year brings something new and exciting to the fair,” Summey said in a statement.
This year, that includes a silent disco, Gel Blasters which is like paintball but for younger kids, Polynesian Fire Dancers, BMX Showcase, ax-throwing and a trampoline show.
Pours on the Plains is back with a special ticketed craft brew festival at the fair for ages 21 and over. That’s scheduled for Friday from 6:30 p.m.to 9:30 p.m. and will feature more than 15 local breweries, live music, a golf simulator, and other games. Tickets for Pours on the Plains are a separate ticketed event and are not included in the general fair admission.
