PUEBLO, Colo. | Some people are asking for refunds for an upcoming Bill Cosby show in Pueblo on Jan. 16.

The Pueblo Chieftain reports (https://tinyurl.com/n3y5xeo) no refunds have been awarded but that hasn’t stopped some ticketholders from asking.

In recent weeks more than a dozen women have alleged that Cosby drugged them and sexually assaulted them. The allegations have led to the cancellation of performances in at least nine cities in his current tour of the U.S. and Canada.

The 77-year-old Cosby has refused to answer questions about accusations that he sexually abused several women.

Officials say any decision about refunds would be made by Pueblo Live, the company bringing Cosby to the city.

  1. Bravo to the people who requested refunds! Standing up for what one believes in is courageous and empowering! (Reminds me of the student protests about the unconscionable “no-indictment” decisions in the case of two murdered African-American men – I’m glad there are young people who will fight for what is right — what if no one had stood up and protested against slavery?)
I hope all the wise people who do not want their money going to reward a rapist will hold fast to what is right and have their money refunded. Power to the people who speak out!
