GRAND JUNCTION | Portions of Colorado’s Western Slope continue to be battered by a winter storm that has dumped more than two feet of snow in some areas.

The National Weather Service said Wednesday snowfall may be heavy at times in northern Colorado, where high winds are also expected. More than two feet of snow has been reported in some mountain areas.

The Colorado Department of Transportation has closed Loveland Pass due to snow and Kenosha Pass because of high winds.
