It’s fascinating to see how deluded conservatives are. To pretend they’re a majority in this city is denying objective reality.
Endorsements stand on their own. In this paper, reasons are explained and ideas are the currency that is valued. Taking offense because the paper’s choices are Democrats is childish, but claiming you speak for all of Aurora’s Republicans on whose behalf you take offense is grandiose and out of touch. The kind of citizenship you esteem is more like being in a gang than a modern metropolis.
How presumptuous to think that half the voters are republicans. But yes, I’m sure that the Sentinel’s endorsements offend them, however many they are. Why they even read The Sentinel is beyond me.
Ahem, a third of the city — Dems and unaffiliateds make up 2/3 of the vote. Also, I have been told that the MAGA crowd was supposedly above feelings; am I to understand that the party of Mike Coffman and Donald Trump are just a bunch of emotional bedwetters?
Half the cities voters? When 20% of the population of Aurora is immigrant? Right-wing math never adds up.
