Editor: As we continue to monitor Covid-19 hospitalization rates, our local hospitals and their staff will continue to fight against this pandemic. They deserve our appreciation and support.
The HealthONE healthcare system has multiple facilities throughout Aurora, providing critical services to saving lives and protecting our community. These hospitals took in hundreds of patients per day at the peak of the pandemic in December and they continue to save lives of COVID patients.
I am most impressed with these hospitals because they continued to serve patients with regular healthcare needs. With COVID cases threatening to overflow their hospitals, staff continued treating the everyday medical needs of Coloradans, keeping our community healthy.
As soon as the vaccines began to be rolled out, Aurora’s local hospitals were a crucial partner to help our city administer doses in a timely and efficient manner.
We have made such great progress with their support, and while there is still more to overcome, we are grateful for their service and dedication to our community.
