AURORA | Aurora Mental Health and Recovery and the Aurora NAACP are partnering to hold a community conversation for youth and their families Wednesday evening.
“Join us as we talk about how to manage fear, frustration, and feelings in our uncertain times,” a news release from AMHR said in a news release. “Learn about trauma and resilience along with a community conversation of finding hope.”
Panelists will include Aurora Police Department officer Matthew Alcorta, Community College of Aurora president Mordecai Brownlee, psychiatrist Dr. Anne Garrett-Mills and youth members of the NAACP.
The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 29 at 791 Chambers Road. Pizza will be provided. To RSVP, email Debbie Stafford at debbiestafford@auroramhr.org.
I’m curious as to how this went and the number of participants.
