Ballet and dance in general are seeing a surge of popularity in the metro area. What once used to be a “Nutcracker at wintertime” art form has become a far more regular and popular performing art. Colorado Ballet will perform ‘Traveling Alone’ and, in the style of ultimate mashups like the latest Avengers movie, will combine its dancing powers with Cleo Parker Robinson Dance and Wonderbound for performances of ‘The MOVE/ment’ and ‘Creatures of Prometheus,’ respectively. Fusing together the styles and aesthetics of all the companies, this collaboration will be a one-of-a-kind event.
