The Colorado Avalanche and Dallas Stars both had their playoff runs ended with Game 7 losses last season and the same will be the case for one of those teams this year. The Avalanche, who have won two straight with third-string goaltender Michael Hutchinson in the nets, and Stars play Game 7 Friday afternoon, while Las Vegas and Vancouver will also play Game 7 in the current round of the NHL’s Stanley Cup playoffs.
